Why Should I Choose You?
I want to make sure I’m a good fit for you! My style is true to color/vibrant. I always make sure that is what you are looking for. If not, that’s okay! I’ve got other photographer friends that I can recommend if you are looking for another style. After all, I want you to be happy with your photos. If you do choose me, I want this to be a great experience for everyone involved. My goal is to keep sessions fun, relaxed, and create lasting images that you will cherish forever. I will help you prepare and give you a list of things to consider prior to your session, help with styling outfits, and do my best to put you at ease from the beginning of the process to the end.
What Are Sessions Like?
Session times will range depending on the package booked. Most of my sessions are outdoors and I typically shoot during the Golden Hour (an hour before sunset or hour after sunrise), as that has the best, natural, soft light. Indoor sessions are generally held mid morning or mid afternoon depending on the lighting in your home or studio, but we can figure that out after we book.
I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I like to do some silly photos at the beginning to loosen everyone up, then transition to some traditional posed photos. After we capture those, I like to have fun and capture candid shots where you may be laughing, giggling, snuggling, whispering, etc. I want this to be enjoyable for everyone (even the dad's/husband's/fiance's/boyfriend's).
How Do I Book A Session?
I am so glad you want to book a session with me! Once you’ve contacted me, I will send over two things: a questionnaire (helps me to get to know you better) and a contract. All bookings require a 50%, non-refundable deposit to hold a time slot and date. That deposit goes towards the overall cost of the session. The remaining amount is due on the day of the shoot. Bookings and dates are not official until a deposit is made. Payments can be made through Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, Cash App, Check, or Cash if preferred.

What Happens if the Weather is Bad?
The nice thing about living in Arizona, is that we average 299 sunny days! With the exception of the monsoon season, our weather is fairly predictable. However, on the rare event when it is rainy, we will work together to determine whether it may be a good idea to postpone your session or change the time slightly to allow for the best lighting. I usually tend to wait until the day of to make a switch, as things can change quickly here in the desert.  If you have makeup or hair appointments set, we’ll discuss the day before. I’m happy to be flexible and I always keep your family’s needs in mind.  If you need to reschedule because someone is sick, we can look at my availability in the coming weeks! I understand that life happens!
How Do I Decide On a Photo Location?
The first step is to decide your backdrop. Are you wanting a desert background? Something more modern (buildings)? Summer vibes (pool)? Sports themed (football/baseball field)? I find out this information (and more) when I send over a questionnaire. I have several locations that I love to shoot at. However, if you have a specific location in mind, I am happy to shoot there as well. Share your vision with me, and I will do my best to bring it to life.
What Should I Wear?
Ultimately, the choice is yours, however I do have a helpful guide that can point you in the right direction. I email this guide to my clients once they are booked. I am happy to discuss outfit choices more in depth, leading up to your shoot!
What tips do you have for photos with children?
Kids can be fussy at times and then they can be angels! You never know how they will react at a shoot (I’ve had my fair share of both). Here are a few tips that may help: Bring candy or their favorite treat to bribe them. Play games with them during the shoot (this will help them be in their natural element and allow me to capture some candid shots). Laughing with your child is often times enough to get them smiling. Bring a favorite toy or stuffed animal, not only will this make them happy, but it can make for a cute photo. Relax and do not worry! Kids can sense worry, so have fun with the shoot and do not stress out.
When Will I Receive the Photos After the Shoot?
I always send a few edited sneak peeks to my clients within 72 hours! After that, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for me to finish editing the entire gallery. Once finished, you will have an online gallery that you can share with your family and friends. In addition, you will have access to an online folder where you can download all the high resolution images so that you can order prints, photo books, cards, etc.
*please note part of my job is making sure the images I select to deliver are the best of the best! I've had years of practice, so rest assured you'll get the best photos delivered!*
